Thousands, upon thousands of articles are written every year about how to make money blogging, but this blog post is going to be way different and here’s why:
I’ve taken several ladies from making $0, hustling their *SS off, trying to make money blogging….
to them building a legit, sustainable business that makes them a high income.
I’ve also made a lot of money in my own blogging business and in this post, I’m going to tell you exactly how I do it.
I promise, starting a blog that makes a lot of money is definitely not what you think.
In fact, you’re lied to by most bloggers who write articles about “how to make money with blogging.” It’s sad, but its the truth.
Later in this post, I’ll show you all the ways you can make money blogging and the right actions steps you need to take, but first, you need to learn some important, valuable information.
The answer is yes, but ONLY if you treat it as a business.
The lie that all these blog articles are telling you is…
“Make money blogging from affiliate marketing.”
“Make money blogging with ads.”
And it’s just simply not true.
Even though I do think affiliate marketing and ads are a good way to make money on the SIDE, I know that its not how ANY extremely successful bloggers make money.
So how do they make money blogging?
The answer is….they start a business. All of them sell products and services on their blog.
They live launch the products by showing their faces on Instagram stories, writing regular Instagram posts, they do LIVE Facebook trainings in their Facebook groups, they hold webinars, and they INVEST to learn all of the business marketing and sales strategies.
They make money from affiliate marketing by putting links in their posts. But do they make a living from only doing that? NO WAY.
So, of you’re a new blogger who thinks that if you write tons of blog posts, insert links in your posts, get some blog traffic to your blog, that you will make a TON of money blogging in the next year or so, then I am SO sorry to break it to you, but you won’t make a lot.
Maybe you will make a little bit, but I promise you that you won’t make enough to pay your bills, or to travel, or do anything you see the top bloggers do.
This is exactly why I became a blog coach. Because I see so many new bloggers being lied to. I see so many new bloggers hustling on their blogs and then they get SO far in, SO much money wasted, and then they give up.
And I do NOT want this to happen to you. You know what? It’s not going to happen to you because you’re about to read the most valuable article about how to make money blogging, and you WILL start a legit blogging business that makes you money.
There are 3 different phases to making money from your blog and I’m going to discuss each of these phases in a “easy to understand” way.
Within the first phase we want to create and sell a low ticket, digital product.
This allows us to build some trust, to get into the swing of digital products and to start making some money.
Within the second phase we will create and sell our middle ticket offer.
Within the creation phase we will still be building our audience and income with our low ticket offer.
We can then tack on the middle ticket offer to increase our impact and income.
Within the third phase we start creating our high ticket offer.
At this point,we have an audience of buyers that already trust us, we know that people are interested in our product suite topic and we have the time to create this product because we have income coming in.
We also know that we can successfully sell digital products and feel confident in doing so.
Now that we covered the framework, we can now discuss the Blog Money Ascension Model.
We want to create a journey for our customers and clients that is rooted in their success!
In other words, each product that we create for our blog will take our blog readers from point A to point B.
You want to create a program suite in a way that serves your client/customer at every stage in their journey, they’ll stick with you, and purchase all of your products and offers along the way and so you can make a lot of money from your blog.
Beginner: What would a beginner in your niche need? My example: I have a blog design course that teaches them how to get their website up and running.
Intermediate: What is the next step after they design their blog? They need to learn all the middle steps so they can make it successful. Example: A Blogging Course that covers all the information they need to become successful.
Advanced: Now that they know all the middle steps, they need to scale. They need to perfect their offers to make even more money than they are. Example: Working 1:1 with me in a blog coaching program or a blogging mastermind program.
The first offer in the program suite should be something that your audience really wants and NEEDS.
Then you need to create a offer that is the foundation work, then middle work, an offer that helps them breakthrough, and then an offer that helps them uplevel to the greatest success.
NOTE: If you are only at the foundation stage yourself, that’s OKAY! You don’t need to be an expert to create products or courses. You just need to be one step above. This is why it’s important to keep investing in your knowledge so you can take steps up.
Here is my program suite example:
Someone purchases my Stupid Easy Blog Design Course because they are a beginner blogger and they have a DIRE NEED to design their website and get it started.
Then when they are ready, they will join my membership for bloggers. They will get the foundation work because this is what they need.
Then they will purchase my new blogging course launching in May 2021, The Blog Accelerator Program because they are now ready to gain even MORE knowledge and want to know HOW to make money blogging, HOW to grow blogging businesses, etc.
This is the middle work. This is where they will learn A LOT of information.
Then they can enter my 1:1 Blog Coaching, because even though they know a lot of the “How to’s” from the blogging course, now they need approval. They need the support to hustle and get sh*t done. They need to know they are headed in the right direction. They need someone to grab their hand and pull them on up to the UPLEVELED stage.
NOTE: Each stage in the Blog Money Ascension model will be difficult and some people might need that 1:1 blog coaching support and knowledge right from the beginning. And it’s completely okay for me to take on a beginner client that is brand new.
It’s also okay for new bloggers to join The Blog Accelerator Program without purchasing the Blog Design course or the membership. This is because my course and 1:1 are more “stand-aloneish.”
All the programs I have in my ascension model program suite compliment eachother in a step-by-step strategic way for bloggers in the beginning stage, middle, and advanced stage of their blogging business.
This is how you make money blogging and how you can strategically create products for your bloggers in every stage of their journey in your niche.
The goal of having a blog, is to bring in traffic, get eyes on your products, and the MAIN GOAL: get email list subscribers.
But how much money will you actually make from blogging?
This is where math comes into play. Yeah, yeah…math scares you. It’s okay. This is simple.
Everything has this thing called an awareness pool.
Awareness pool= # of email subscribers + # of social media followers.
You have 300 email subscribers and 500 social media followers.
300 + 500 = 800 awareness pool.
NOTE: the math that we will discuss further is ONLY based on IF your email subscribers and social media followers are WARM.
Warm means- that you send them weekly emails helping them, that you post regularly on social media, and that you are building a relationship with these people.
Now you want to take 20 % of the awareness pool.
20% of 800 = 160 people will buy your entry.
20% of 160 = 32 people will buy your low.
20% of 32 = 6.4 people will buy your mid.
20% of 6.4 = 1.2 people will buy your high.
20% of 1.2= 0.24 people will buy your anchor.
Now that that math is done, you want to price your products!
Now the math will be:
160 X the price of your offer = How much money you will make that year on that product.
Entry : 800 people X $15 = $12000 ($15 is the price of your entry)
Low: 160 people X $30 = $4800
Mid: 32 people X $497 = $15, 904
High: 6.4 X $900 = $5,760
Anchor: 1.2 X $2,400
Add all the numbers up and the…
Total = $40,864
If your awareness pool is 800 and if you price your products in that way, then you are estimated to make $40,864 that year blogging…
This is only IF you are consistently creating free, helpful content, writing weekly, helpful emails, showing up on Instagram stories, doing mini trainings on the products, doing Facebook lives, creating pins on Pinterest, writing blog posts, etc.
This is how you make money from your blog. And that is why it is SOO important to grow your email list and your social media because you will have a higher awareness pool and therefore, you will make more money in your blogging business.

Blogging is simply a tool to use to give valuable information to your audience, to help people, and to grow your email list.

As you know, you need to be creating products and services so you can have a business and make money with blogging.
But what kinds of things can you sell?
There are a ton of different products and services that you can offer on your blog. We will now talk about each of these in deep detail.
Writing an educational eBook about a certain topic can be a great entry level product to sell to your blog readers.
In this section of the blog post, I’m going to briefly explain how to create an eBook.
Let’s jump in.
The first Step to creating a good eBook is to research the idea.
You want to ensure that your eBook idea will actually be something your ideal readers will want to purchase.
The first way you can do research is by heading to Amazon and searching for the idea in the “eBooks” section.
For example: You can search for “Yoga” and see how many eBooks pop up. If there is a lot of eBooks about Yoga, then you know this is a topic that is in high demaind.
Then you want to look at the reviews for the eBook and write down anything that stands out. What do people say about the eBook? Write down anything that they wish would have been inside the eBook so you can make it better. Write down what made it good AND bad.
You can also look at the number of reviews for the eBook to determine how many people are actually purchasing.
The second way is to go on Facebook and apply to Facebook groups in the specific niche you want to write about. When you get accepted to the groups, you want to write down any questions that someone has about your eBook topic.
Write all this down because you want to validate your eBook idea and make sure that what you are writing is going to be in high demand and helpful to your ideal customer.
-You want to write eBooks that people want and need.
-You want to help people inside of your eBook.
-You want to pay attention to any pain points and questions that they may have.
Now you want to write the outline for the eBook and then write it.
This usually looks like…
Write down the key points you want to touch on in the introduction, middle points, and conclusion.
Then you want to start writing the eBook.
NOTE: Your eBook does not have to be perfect. Just get it done. You can fix everything later in the editing process.
Now you want to edit the eBook.
Do you need to hire a professional editor? No!
All you need to do is look it over a couple times and plug it into Grammarly. Grammarly is free and it will correct all of your mistakes for you.
Now you want to design the eBook.
If you are no designer than that is okay. All you have to do is go to Etsy or Creativemarket.com and purchase an eBook template that you can edit in Canva.
Canva is very very easy to use.
When you purchase the template, all you will have to do is plug in the edited edited version, change the images, change the colors and wala!
You now have your beautiful eBook created so you can make money blogging!

There are so many ways to make money blogging from digital products.
So now that you know what you will sell, how do you sell them?
You can list them on Etsy, Amazon and creative market!
Another way is to sell them with a tripwire, and a sales sequence.
Selling courses to your audience make a great mid to high offer and in my opinion, are the BEST way to make money blogging.
I’ve seen great results and high income from my courses that I sell here on my blog.
You can make a lot of money blogging by selling courses but only if you do it in a strategic way.
By a strategic way, I mean by live launching.
Live Launching an offer is basically only opening your cart doors for a certain amount of time.
For example: My Blog Accelerator Course will be open for just one week in May.
This creates urgency because when you have your doors open all of the time, your audience thinks, “Well I can join this whenever so I’ll wait.”
Since you only will open the doors to the course 2 times/ year, your audience will now say, “I need this course, and I have only one week to jump in for another 6 months.”
That is how you make a lot of money blogging with courses.
So what does the live launch look like?
You will do lots of teasing of the course for 6-8 weeks before you open the doors. You will hold lots of free trainings, publish lots of blog posts, do tons of stories, tease the offer, and much more.
The week/ day before you launch the offer, you will hold a webinar or 3 day challenge, or some kind of launch event and at the end of the launch event, you will open the doors.

Becoming a coach is definitely a high to anchor offer. You would never put this in a mid or low offer.
Here are some coaching ideas if you want to become a coach to make money blogging:
There are soooo many coaching ideas!
The number one question I get when it comes to becoming a coach is how to get clients.
You want to show up daily on Instagram and in your Facebook group. You want to get on Instagram stories, do IGTV, do live trainings, video trainings, etc.
You want to comment on peoples photos daily, reply to their stories, DM them daily, ask questions and get to know them.
Don’t be afraid to give out all of your best information to your audience. You want to give them value, serve them for free, because psychology says, that if you give out the best free stuff, they will ultimately feel like they need to give you something in return.
But NOTE: you are NOT trying to sell people. Your coaching needs to serve a greater purpose than that. Yes, you will be paid for your coaching, but you need to HELP people and you need to WANT to help people!
Providing a service should also fall under the high to anchor offers.

There are SO many services that you can provide to your audience!
A membership can fall under ANY category and it’s such an amazing way to make money with blogging.
I’ve seen memberships that even fall under the anchor category. You can ultimately build a membership for anything.
When it comes to building a membership site, you want to think about where this will best serve your audience.
For example: My membership site- The Bloggin Ladies Membership fits best in my low category because I have a mid and an anchor offer.
If you only want to have 3 offers, then you can build your acension model like this….
Entry: Digital Product
It all depends on you and what offers will serve your audience best and how many offers you can make to get your audience from A to Z.
Last (and least), you can make money blogging with affiliate marketing and ads. No, I’m not dissing on them.
It’s definitely a way to make some money blogging but it’s not THE way to scale your blog, quit your job, and travel.
Some tips to think about when it comes to affiliate marketing:
Now some tips about making money blogging with ads:
Truth is, live launching is an entire course within itself (and it would be a really long course).
But I can explain the gist’s of it.
You start the launch phase starting at 60 days BEFORE you launch.
55 days prior, you will launch a REALLY GOOD freebie.
44 days prior, you will do a Giveaway to your audience.
During all of this, you will be writing a weeky blog post, sending out emails and email sequences, posting 3 times a week on IG, and doing daily IG stories.
20 days prior, you announce the course.
You will also be teasing the audience by posting stories of you saying “I’m creating something for you.” And also show images of you creating it.
16 days prior, you will release another freebie.
12 days prior, you announce the challenge.
All while automated emails are being published on the backend.
4 to 1 days prior you will do the launch event. Webinar, challenge, etc.
The Cart will open.
During launch week:
Daily stories, launch emails daily, dming people, selling the offer with everything you’ve got. Sending out webinar replays, sending people to the sales page.
This is the best way I can explain how to live launch your offers.
It’s A LOT of work. But when you have a plan mapped out, you can do it easily!
