Free call · 30 to 60 minutes

Let's talk about what you're building.

No charge, no pitch deck. You tell me where you're at and what you want, and I'll tell you honestly what I'd do about it. Even if the answer isn't to hire me.

What happens

What actually happens on the call

1

You talk first.

Where your blog is now, what you want it to be, and what's been getting in the way.

2

I ask questions.

Probably more than you expect. I want to understand your offer and your person before I say anything useful.

3

Then I tell you what I'd do.

Whether that's the Blog Accelerator, a coaching call, or something you can go and do yourself for free. I'd rather be useful than book you.

4

If it's a fit, we'll talk logistics.

Timeline, the payment plan, when we could start. I take three clients at a time, so we'll also talk about where the next open spot is. If it isn't a fit, I'll point you somewhere better and we'll both get our afternoon back.

No pressure, no scripted objection handling, no "this price is only good today." That's not how I sell and it's not how I'd want to be sold to.

A quick filter

Who should book

Book if:

  • You want a business, and the blog is how you market it
  • You're serious about selling something you made
  • You want your site built right the first time
  • You've got a decision you need help making
  • You want traction in months, not years

Probably don't book if:

  • Your whole plan is affiliate links and ads
  • You want a travel blog or a diary and that's the goal
  • You're looking for free consulting with no intention of working together

That last one sounds harsh written down, but I'd rather be clear. I give a lot away free on this site and in the courses. The call is for women thinking about working with me.

Before you book

Come prepared, get more out of it

You don't need to prepare much, but the calls that go best are the ones where you show up with:

  • Your blog URL, if you have one
  • A rough sense of what you'd like to sell, even if it's vague
  • The one question you most want answered

I'll send you a short prep email when you book.

Quick answers

Before-you-book questions

Is it really free?

Yes. The call is free, no charge, no card. Calls run 30 minutes, sometimes closer to an hour if we're on a roll.

Will you pressure me?

No. If it's not a fit I'll say so first, before you have to.

What if I can't afford the program?

Tell me on the call. There's a payment plan, there are coaching packages starting at $150, and there's a whole free library. One of those will fit.

I don't have a blog yet. Can I still book?

Yes. Some of my favorite clients started with nothing but an idea.

What if I need to reschedule?

Use the link in your confirmation email. Life happens, no problem at all.
