The real goal

Let's talk about what you actually want.

not the pageviews, babe. the real thing.

Not the blog stats. Not the pageviews. The real thing underneath all of it.

You want to open your laptop and see a website that looks like you. The colors, the fonts, the whole feel of it. Something you'd screenshot. Something you'd send to your group chat without adding "ignore how it looks, I'm still working on it."

You want someone to ask what you do, and to answer in one clean sentence instead of trailing off into "well, it's kind of a blog, but I'm also trying to..."

You want the notification. The one that says somebody bought something you made, at 9pm on a Tuesday, while you were doing absolutely nothing.

You want the hours you're pouring into this to show up somewhere. In your bank account. In your calendar. In how you feel on a Sunday night.

And you want it soon. Not in three years, once the traffic finally builds. Soon.

That's not too much to ask for. It's just usually asked for in the wrong order.

the women, the builds, the little life behind it
My story

I wanted the exact same thing, and I got it wrong for two years.

Back in 2017 I was living in my aunt's basement, googling "how to make money online," and blogging is what came back.

So I did what everybody says to do. WordPress. A template I picked because it was pretty. A lifestyle blog. Post after post after post, affiliate links tucked in, ads switched on, refreshing the dashboard like something was going to change.

Two years of that. I made nothing.

And honestly? I cried about it more than once. Not really about the money. About what it seemed to mean. That I was wasting my time. That working from home was something other women got to do and I didn't.

Then I stopped trying to be a blogger, and started building a business that happened to use a blog. I made my own offer. I learned how to design and write a site built to sell instead of built to look nice. And I rebuilt everything in a completely different order: what I was selling first, then the words, then the design.

Four months later, I made $4,000.

The part I still think about is the timeline. Two years of nothing. Four months of something. Same person, same effort, different order.

Genasys in real life
The part nobody tells you

So here's what I wish somebody had told me in year one.

01

Your blog isn't the business. It's the marketing.

The blog is how people find you and decide they like you. The offer is how you get paid. When you build the blog without the offer, you've built a beautiful machine pointing at nothing.

02

Ads and affiliates pay in pennies, and pennies need crowds.

Both need a huge amount of traffic before they turn into money you'd actually notice. And traffic is harder to build now than it's ever been. Keep affiliate links if you like them. I'd skip ads completely.

03

Most "how to start a blog" articles exist to sell you hosting.

That's the business model. The same advice gets recycled from post to post, mostly written by people who aren't actually making money from their own blogs. You weren't behind. You were following a map drawn by people paid to point you down that road.

The order

Almost everyone builds in exactly the wrong order.

not more effort. a different order.
What most people do

Pick a template, build the site, write content, chase traffic, and then eventually try to figure out how to make money from any of it.

What actually works

Decide what you're selling. Write the copy that sells it. Then build the site around that copy. A template can't do that part for you, and WordPress can't either. Publishing and selling are two different jobs.

Blog coaching, done differently

I'm not teaching you blogging. I'm teaching you business.

There's no shortage of blog coaches out there. Here's what's different about this one.

Slow blogging
Business-first blogging
Build traffic first, monetize someday
Build the offer first, sell from the start
A course and a very long to-do list
An actual website, designed and written for you
A template you fill in alone
A custom coded site built to convert, on Showit
Affiliate links and ads
Your own offer, your own margins
"Give it a year or two"
21 days to a real foundation
Advice for everyone
1:1 coaching on your specific decisions

Most coaches hand you the homework. I do the work with you, and I document every single piece of it so you know exactly how to do it yourself next time.

The signature program

The Blog Accelerator Business Program

everything a blogging business needs, built together

Your first 21 days:

  • Business foundations. What you're selling, who it's for, why she buys.
  • Messaging. Finally, the words for the idea you've been carrying around.
  • Brand visuals. A look that makes your reader stop scrolling.
  • Copywriting. Every page written to sell, in your voice.
  • Website design. Custom coded, gorgeous, hosted on Showit.
  • Your freebie. Created and ready to start growing your list.

Then, as we keep going: email list setup and connection, blog content writing, marketing plans, and weekly 1:1 coaching calls for the decisions that actually matter.

What you do: answer the questionnaires honestly, show up to your calls, and read the documents I write for you. That's it.

Your investment: $3,000, with a payment plan built in: three payments of $1,000 across the program, so you're never paying ahead of what's been built. And there's a first-week checkpoint: finish the foundations week, and if it's not for you, you walk with your work having only paid the first $1,000.

i take three clients at a time, so there's a real line, babe

How it works

Three steps. That's genuinely all of it.

1

Book a call.

Thirty minutes. You tell me what you want to build, I tell you whether I'm the right person to build it.

2

Fill out your questionnaires.

This is where the business comes out of your head and onto paper. Your offer, your person, your voice, your story.

3

We build it, in 21 days.

I write and design. You review and give feedback on our weekly calls. At the end you've got a blog, a brand, and something to sell.

A quick gut-check

This isn't for everybody, and I'd rather say that now.

You're my person if:

  • You want a business, and the blog is how you market it
  • You'd rather build it right once than rebuild it three times
  • You're willing to sell something you made
  • You want to genuinely love how your site looks
  • You want traction in months, not years

You're probably not my person if:

  • You want a travel blog or a personal diary, and that's the goal
  • Affiliate links and ads are the entire plan
  • You want a template handed over and then to be left alone
  • You want passive income without building the thing that earns it
  • You're okay waiting a couple of years to find out whether it worked

If you're that second list, that's completely fine. There are people who teach it that way and they'll serve you better than I will.

Honest answers

The things you're already thinking

Is $3,000 a lot for this?

It is. It's also less than the two years I spent making nothing, and less than most women spend on courses that end up sitting half-finished in a dashboard. You're not buying information here. You're buying a finished website, a brand, your copy, your offer, and me in your corner every week. It's split into three payments of $1,000 across the program, so you're never paying ahead of what's been built.

I don't have time for this.

I'd say you have less time than you think, and that's the argument for it rather than against it. The slow way costs you years of evenings. This costs you a few questionnaires and an hour a week.

You use AI. I don't want an AI website.

Totally fair, and I want to be clear about how it works. AI doesn't decide anything on your site. Your questionnaires do, your voice does, and I do. What changed is speed. I used to design every site by hand, which meant projects broke into a hundred little pieces and dragged on for months. Now I code custom sites quickly, on Showit, built from your words. Human strategy, fast execution. That combination is the only reason 21 days is even possible.

What if I do all this and still don't make money?

I can't promise you sales, and I'd be a little suspicious of anyone who did. What I can promise is that you'll walk away with the thing almost every stuck blogger is missing: something to sell, words that sell it, and a site designed to convert. What happens next depends on you showing up, which is exactly why I document the whole process as we go. You're not just getting a website. You're learning how it got built.

Do you offer refunds?

I don't, and I'd rather you read that here than hear it on a call. This is done-with-you work that starts right away. There is a first-week checkpoint though: if you finish the foundations week and decide it's not for you, you can walk having only paid the first $1,000, and you keep everything we made. If you're not sure yet, grab one of my free courses first and come back when you are.

you've been carrying this idea long enough

You already have the idea. Every time you sit down to explain it the words come out wrong, and what ends up on the screen looks nothing like the thing in your head. That's not a you problem. That's a copy and design problem, and it's a very fixable one.
